At Dixie Rubber & Plastics, Inc., we have access to a variety of machinery and innovative technology to produce specific products for our clients. Through our water jet cutting services, we are able to make precise cuts up to 5" stainless steel, rubber, plastic, copper, granite, and foam. With our CNC routing services, we can cut material up to 4" but on a larger scale (5ft x 16ft). Our industrial foam services can also supply your business with closed cell sponge foam and cross-linked polyethylene foam.  In addition to our custom machining services, we also offer reverse engineering and CAD drafting services for specialized parts and prototypes our customers may have.

CNC Routers:

  • Two machines with 5ft x 16ft machining surfaces
  • Up to 4” thick material
  • Ideal for high volume production
  • Standard tolerances +/- .015” - Tighter tolerances available upon request
  • Chain guides, wear strips, spacers, machine guards, dunnage

CNC Panel Saws:

  • Cuts up to 6” thick material, up to 144” long
  • Standard tolerance + .020”
  • Hendrick HC6-3800

CNC Mills:

  • Ideal for custom precision machined parts
  • High precision plastics machining, up to +/- 0.001”

CNC Lathes:

  • Up to 8” Diameter machined parts, up to 9” long
  • High precision plastics machining, up to +/- 0.001”

5 Axis Waterjet Cutting:

  • 2 machines, Abrasive and Straight Water
  • Cuts up to 5” stainless steel, rubber, plastic, copper, granite, and foam
  • Straight Water machine has 4 cutting heads

Automated Slitter:

  • Perfect for cutting custom gasket srips in high volume.
  • Can be used for both adhesive and non-adhesive rubber and foam materials.
